Ice-creams are the favorite of us in every season. But eating this frozen sweet dessert in scorching summer gives us a different relief. However, they are not as good for our health as on the taste palate. That’s why we have come up with some healthy ice cream recipes for you to try this summer.

Sugar and cream are the guilty pleasure of most of us. But we have to control ourselves because of the number of calories it has. People who diet and have a sweet tooth have difficulty controlling their temptation to eat them to soothe themselves from this hot weather. But you don’t have to resist anymore!

The following are some healthy yet lip-smacking delicious ice-creams that you can try at home:-

  • Mango milk ice-cream

For making mango ice cream, you need one cup of mangoes, one cup of milk, and sugar or honey or brown sugar to make it healthier. Mix all the ingredients well, and put it in the freezer overnight. You will have your mango milk ice cream ready to serve by the morning.

  • Raw mango ice-cream

For Kachi Kairi or raw mango ice cream, you need grated mango, milk, sugar or honey, and cornflour. Cook the mango in sugar and water before mixing it in the milk condensed with cornflour. Fold the mixture well, and freeze it overnight. Tada! Your sweet and tangy Kachi Kairi ice cream is ready to be served.

  • Lemon curd ice-cream

To make zesty lemon curd ice cream, beat two eggs with a tablespoon lemon juice and one teaspoon butter. If you don’t eat eggs, you can use cheese as the base. It will enhance the tanginess of the ice cream. After making the curd, add whipped cream and sweetener. There you go! Fresh and zingy lemon curd ice cream is ready.

  • Thandai ice-cream

We love to drink Thandai. But the store Thandai is not healthy, plus it’s too sweet. So, why not make it home this year? For the masala, you need to blend cashews, pistachio, almonds, peppercorns, melon, fennel, poppy seeds, rose petals, cardamoms, and saffron. After it, mix the powder in the milk and slowly bring it to simmer. Once the mixture is cool, whisk the cream into it, and freeze it for 8 hours. Thandai ice cream is ready to chill you.

  • Rabri ice-cream

Rabri is a condensed milk dessert topped with dry fruits. It is an easy-peasy and quick recipe, which you can make with minimal ingredients, like milk, khoya, honey or sugar, and Kesar. After making the mix, freeze it overnight; and your Rabri ice cream is ready.
