Cranberries are most popularly believed to lower the risk of catching Urinal Tract Infection (UTIs). It is an infection in any part of the urinary system, kidneys, bladder, or urethra. It is commonly found in women.

Urinary Tract doesn’t have symptoms always, but some signs have been seen:

Intestinal bacteria, E.coli, attaches itself to the bladder lining or urinal tract, which causes the infection. It creates a painful sensation in the pelvic area in women.

Cranberries being the richest in phytonutrient A-type proanthocyanidins, makes it the best preventive measure for UTIs. This phytonutrient can prevent E.coli from attaching to the lining.
